Senior Backend Developer

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Senior Backend Engineer to lead the development of our backend systems. As a senior engineer at ONINO, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and scaling the infrastructure that powers our tokenization platform. You will work closely with frontend developers, DevOps, and product teams to ensure a seamless, secure, and performant user experience. Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable backend systems and APIs to support ONINO’s tokenization platform.
• Implement and optimize complex tokenization logic, asset management, and transaction processing.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and product teams to ensure smooth integration of backend functionalities with the overall platform.
• Ensure high levels of performance, reliability, and security in all backend services, aligning with industry best practices.
• Lead efforts in improving our backend architecture, including the introduction of microservices or serverless functions as needed.
• Drive backend code quality, best practices, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support to foster technical growth within the team.
• Stay up-to-date with blockchain technology, particularly EVM networks, and assess how ONINO can incorporate new developments into its architecture.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in backend engineering with a focus on building high-scale, high-performance applications.
• Proficiency in backend technologies such as Node.js, TypeScript, or other relevant programming languages.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and database design (both SQL and NoSQL).
• Experience with blockchain technology, specifically EVM-compatible networks (Ethereum, Arbitrum, etc.).
• Solid understanding of security best practices, especially in the context of handling financial or sensitive data.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure and DevOps practices, including containerization and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying potential improvements and optimizations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working in a cross-functional team environment.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with tokenization, smart contracts, or other blockchain-based technologies.
• Familiarity with TypeScript in a production environment.
• Background in fintech or experience with regulatory requirements in the finance industry.
