ONINO is seeking a proactive and people-oriented General Office and HR Manager to manage day-to-day office operations, foster a positive workplace culture, and oversee HR functions. In this role, you will work closely with our leadership and team members, managing administrative tasks, supporting recruitment efforts, and developing HR initiatives that align with our mission and values. You’ll play a pivotal role in creating a productive, welcoming environment that helps our remote and onsite team members thrive.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee office administration, including supplies, facilities management, and general organization.
- Manage HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for new team members.
- Coordinate employee relations activities, fostering a positive work environment and addressing any HR-related issues.
- Develop and implement HR policies and practices that support a collaborative, transparent, and inclusive company culture.
- Plan and organize team events, both virtual and in-person, to build morale and strengthen team connections.
- Maintain employee records and manage payroll, benefits, and other personnel matters in compliance with German labor laws.
- Support performance management initiatives, assisting with reviews, goal-setting, and development plans.
- Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, benefits, and other workplace matters.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to identify and implement strategies that enhance employee engagement and retention.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in office administration, HR, or a similar role, ideally within a tech startup or high-growth environment.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, including recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
- Familiarity with German labor laws and HR compliance requirements.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with a proactive approach to managing office and HR tasks.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with team members.
- High attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Proficiency with HR software and office tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace); experience with HRIS systems is a plus.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment.
